2007 Movie Reviews

2007 has been a great year as far as the India Cinema is considered.Right from different subjects to great perfomances, audiences were treated to some quality entertainment.
It started with Ek Chalis ki Last Local, simple story but good presentation."Kya hua jo Laree chote " song was a major hit.Yash Raj movies took a beating this year.We saw some of the finest movies this year.Bheja Fry inspite of
being a low budjet film, attracted viewers.Vinay Pathak and Ranbir showed why they are rated as one of the finest when it comes to comedy.Vinay's comic timing was excellent.(Main to inke baarein main aise baat kar raha hoo jaise yeh mere Baap ke Dost hain).
Dhaamal was according to me, one of the Top Three best movies of Year.Though I feel many are not talking about it, it should have shined more. After such a long time, I have seen such good comedy.
One of the underrated movie this year was Jhonny Gaddar.It was a mvie we could see under "Thriller" genre.But people dint turn up to Theatre to acclaim this Hollywood style made movie.
Chak De India was answer to Shahrukh's critics, who doubted his versatility.His lived his character to perfection.Direction was good as well.The Chak De girls were the centre of attraction in many events in and around city after
the movie was declared a Super Hit.Preity Sabbarwal became star in a day.
If Shahrukh did it in Chak De, so did Kareena in "Jab We Met".Such was the effect of het performance that even Kareena bashers was a repeat audience.On screen chemistry of the off screen couple was amazing.Actually I expected this movie to be good for the reason it was the movie of the same director who made "Socha Na tha".Guru was a great movie as well.It was an autobiography of a person, about his dreams and his rise against all odds.Few scenes were so well written and acted, any person will be encouraged to pursue his dreams without an element of fear.Bhool Bhulaiya was Akshay's movie.he has an amazing sense of humour.Right from his entry in the movie, it was a solece to audience's heart.This year was his year with all hits from "Namaste London" to "Welcome".
The year ended with the best directional movie of the year "Taare Zameen Par".This movie was exceptionally welldirected.It was a movie made so good that even any leading Hollywood director would be proud of him.
The child was excellent and showed exact emotions of a troubled child who was just losing everything to this world,who failed to understand him.

2008 has some block busters lined up.Lets hope it will be equally great as well.
