Monsoon is here !!!

Monsoon has hit India early this year ....Monsoon has its own charm.
Though I didn't use to like Monsoon when I started working, now I have got used to Monsoon.
Life in Mumbai gets hamper during heavy rains. But with rains you feel like going out to picnic spot, enjoy nature. Its a romantic season, I feel very happy when I see people playing soccer, cricket in rain.
I know what I am missing in life. Poluution free, green nature, I wish Roads were also lot safer for travelling, it would be a nice experience.

I hope and pray for good Monsoon, let all the farmers be happy, let water problem vanish ..keeping my fingers cross.

Movie Trailers...

Whenever you come across a nice movie trailer, you make up your mind that you have to catch this particular flick.
Recently, I saw few such trailers. First one is language centric, made for a Marathi lingustic audience.
Its Zapatlela 2. Its a horror flick second part after about 15 years than its preceedor.
Its going to be a first 3D film in Marathi language. Hatss off to "Mahesh Kothari".

the other movies are "After Earth" and "Now you see me".
After Earth looked like a Dual Survival movie of a father and son on an alien planet with supposedly no life( or wait is there some twist ..).Will Smith and his son will be a part of this adventure and directed by indian origin director Shyamalanan.

Now you see me is about magic. Yeah magic trailer showed magic which with its originality blowed me away. looking forward to see where a gang of magicians, rob government banks during live magical performances.

Way to go...lets see I hope to catch atleast 2 movies from above list.

History does Repeats Itself

This is with respect to World Cup Win of India in 2011.
I found on the way to victory India managed to pay all the debts from the past. Its 2013 and too late to write this, but you know what its never too late.
Payback is a bitch...!!

1) In the playoff's round robin stage 1, India defeated bangladesh. It was a huge win and Bangladesh was humiliated in front of their home crowd, I guess. This had great significance and huge moral booster as in earlier World Cup i.e WorldCup 2007, Bangladesh defeated India and hence India shockingly crashed out of tournament in Round 1 itself.
2) India defeated Australia in quarter finals. This was a payback time against 2 time defending champions Austalia, who had earlier defeated India in 2003 finals.
3)India defeated SriLanka in Finals and went on to win the cup. SriLanka had defeated India in 1999 WorldCup Semifinals.

They say life comes back in full circle. India on the way to victory, ensured that they had score settled with all the past dreadfull memories and like they say...All is Well that's end Good.

Murder 3

Awesome script.
I just loved this movie. Didn't want it to go unnoticed for others. This movie was damn good. Curious to know more about the script, I learned the script was copied from some Spanish movie. But thats cool if good script are bought and Bollywood films are made. If u missed this one, do catch it sometime ....

Watching movies in multiplex

I wondered how people manage to watch so many movies in multiplex...But I found a way for me to enjoy movies in multiplexes.I have watched following movies in theatre in last year and a few this year
1)John Carter 3D
2)Avenger 3D
3)Raaz 3D
4)Jab Tak hain Jaan
5) 1920
6) Son of Sardar
7)Life of Pi 3D
8)Balak Palak
9)Dabang 2
10)Matru ki Bijlee ka Mandola
11)Race 2

This list will serve 2 purposes for me. For a short memory creature like me it will remind me  that I had been to all this movies in year 2012-2013 and my wife cannot complain that I don't take her to movies(I have the proof ready)

The trick which I will share with all is
1) Eat some light snacks before going to a movie and then you dont have to munch anything during movie and can have a good meal after movie. You can sneak a packet of biscuit with you, nothing like that. You can occasionally have some snacks but the price are exorbitant.
2) There are some deals like Vodafone Tuesday make use of them
3) Saturday or Sunday morning shows are pretty cheap. A good motivation to get up early on weekends.

Wat say :)....Try this tricks and see whether you too come with some flying colors like me.

Happiness or Satisfaction

I bought a home on June 2011. I used to feel that after I buy my own house, I will be happy..but somehow I never think about it. Its a pride thing for me to talk about my house and how it secures me financially against inflation. But paying the EMI's have taken the zing out of my happiness. Its more off a satisfaction than happiness at this moment.

I remember how much pains I gone through to own this house...I hope I will be Happy To call it Home in Future sometime !!

So much for a RAT

We stay @ ground floor. A rat entered our loo and we kept the loo door closed for about 14 hours. We are a strong 5 members family but didn't have the guts to take action on this forcefull entity in our house. Dad bought this RAT poison, RAT stick and still he was creating havoc in the small loo area. Finally a municipality cleaner guy came and rescued us from the menace.
20 rs on RAT poison
20 rs for RAT stick
20 rs to Municipality guy
20 rs for cleaning Loo

to have u r loo back....PRICELESS....

3D movie watching spree

I genuinely feel 3D movies offer more value to Money. Watched the movies like Avatar, Raaz 3D, John Carter and The Avengers.

The movies were good and 3D effects presented were of the highest quality. The technology has advanced so much these days. I plan to watch few more Hollywood movies in upcoming days. Wish that Bollywood also adapts to the 3D technology and we can watch some good "Sci-Fi" movies. The bollywood currently seem to restrict itself on Horror and SuperHero genre for 3D.

R.I.P Dev Anand...

Guide is one of the best films I have ever seen.
After his death, I watched his Jewel Thief loved it too.
I plan to watch few more films of his.

The most important thing which I loved about him is his passion.
He was 88 years old and still he wanted to direct, produce and act in a movie.
What commitment , what passion.
He was a very stubborn person.
I watched one of his interviews with Simi Garewal.
He admitted he was a very emotional and sentimental person, and how he was a loner all his life.
Most stylish actor, always wore a scarf and jacket.
Respect !!!
